Construction

Planning and design: We will meet at your home to review your yard, discuss what size and type of pool you want, which features and options you want, etc. Based on your input and the details of your yard, we will create a computer generated plan showing what the pool will look like in your yard and allow you to make changes if necessary.

Layout and Excavation: Before digging or setting forms, we will paint the outline of the pool in your yard. You will have an opportunity to make last minute changes to the size and shape before excavation begins if necessary.

Plumbing, Steel and Initial Electrical: We use #4 steel bars (re-bar) throughout to provide extra strength to your pool structure. The water features, returns, skimmer and main drains are added at this time. We also set the equipment at this time (pumps, heaters, filters etc) and our licensed electricians set the equipotential bonding wire.

Gunite: The concrete used to form your pool is called gunite. It is now really starting to look like your pool!

Tile and Coping: Highly skilled masons will install the tile and coping that you have selected

Once the Tile & Coping is in place, the electricians will be back to install your in-pool lighting and connect the equipment to your homes power supply.

Then the deck crew will arrive to layout and pour the concrete decking around the pool.

Plaster: Plaster day is always very exciting because it means that you are getting very near to being able to swim in your new pool! We specialize in durable pebble finishes and many color options are available to you.

As the plaster crew leaves, they will begin filling the pool with water. After the pool is filled, we will get it set up and running, balance the chemicals, and teach you how to use the equipment and check your chemical levels. We provide the initial chemicals you need and a pole, brush and leaf net.
